Custard Pi - 2: coming soon

The second of a range of add-on boards for the Raspberry Pi. Custard Pi-2 is a plug in card providing 4 digital outputs, 4 digital inputs, 2 analogue outputs and 4 analogue inputs. Also we launch the all new Custard Pi logo here.

This card will be available in the next 2 weeks and will plug into the GPIO port of the Raspberry Pi.
(Custard Pi logo designed by Chris Shearston of Textbook Studio.)

The four digital outputs are darlingtom drivers capable of sinking 500mA continuously and rated at 50V.

The four digital inputs are buffered and the output is open collector transistors so that there is no risk of voltages over 3.3V reaching the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.

The 2 analogues outputs use a 12bit D to A IC which connects to the SPI bus of the Raspberry Pi GPIO.

The 2 analogue inputs use a 12bit A to D IC whcih connects to the SPI bus of the Raspberry Pi GPIO.

We plan for this board to be available in March 2013. Watch www.sf-innovations.co.uk for availablity.
